Louis R. McKie

North Augusta, SC--Graveside Services for Mr. Louis R. McKie, 71, who entered into rest January 13, 2021 will be conducted Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock in Pineview Memorial Gardens with Veteran Honors. Pastor David Hixon officiating. We encourage those attending to wear a mask and social distancing will be practiced. For those who are unable to attend, the service will be livestreamed on Posey Funeral Directors Facebook page. Mr. McKie was a native of Augusta, GA and was a lifelong resident of the North Augusta area. He was a United States Navy Veteran and was a retired mechanic. He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther McKie, and Daisy Wood McKie; a brother, Luther T. McKie and a sister, Peggy M. McIntosh. Survivors include a daughter, Kimberly L. McKie, Aiken, SC; a son, Eric L.
